Here are the results of this week’s UFC challenge!


Time for our third challenge, the stakes are high, with one team wanting to increase their advantage and the other team thirsty to finally get their first victory!

The first perfomer to make his way into the ring was Marco Beltran with his supporter, Mortis, always with a crazy look while shouting to Beltran: “MAKE IT QUICK AND EASY!” While Beltran seemed to agree.

And from Team Scorpion, came Urijah Faber, looking very cocky simply shouting “I’M GOING TO BE THE ONE SAVING THIS TEAM!” to the disdain of Scorpion who was trying to calm Faber and making him more focused on the match at hand.

I - Round One

For the disappointment of Mortis and Beltran, this match-up wasn’t going to be over quickly. Beltran tried to get Faber down for a submission win early on, but the tables were quickly turned around because Faber was able to counter a takedown and by the end of the round, it was Faber that was on top trying to submit Beltran, who was saved by the bell.
Mortis was now getting a little bit worried while Scorpion was actually applauding and asking Faber to continue this path.

II - Round Two

Thinking that he had Beltran all figured out, Faber began to play with his opponent, taunting Beltran, while Mortis screamed at the top of her lungs. That caused Beltran to wake up - liting a fire inside him. From there, Beltran tried his best to get a knockout while Faber had absolutely no defense and was just trying to survive. He managed to do just that because as soon as the round ended, Beltran was already seeking the finish and making close calls!
Mortis was pretty happy with this last minutes while Scorpion berated Faber because of his performance in that round.

III - Round Three

Taking profit that Faber was completely exhausted from the previous round, Beltran quickly aimed for the kill, dropped Faber on the floor with a takedown and a submission in a form of a pretty tight triangle choke, that led Faber to pass out, giving Beltran the submission win!
Mortis ran through the octagon to happily cheer for Beltran and also trash talk Faber, that was on the ground, getting first medical assistance.
